Westtown is one of 64 schools from across the country - and one of only 10 independent schools - to share this award, according to Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The selected schools are recognized for their exemplary efforts to reduce environmental impact and utility costs, promote better health, and ensure effective environmental education. Environmental awareness and responsible environmental action are core values at Westtown.
