Those who know me well know I've lived with daily pain for over 30 years and how bad its gotten this year. Last year could walk 3 miles daily with barely tolerable pain, this year 20 steps bring tears to my eyes. Still try to walk at least mile a day. In Ocean City from my sister's place to the bay and back is a little more than a mile. Today, I had just reached the bay and turned to go back to house, limping pretty bad, holding my back with one hand, in pretty bad pain and this sweet young woman with her maybe first grader in the car stops and asks me if I wanted a ride. Most definitely did but needed to walk the last 1/2 mile so I thanked her and said no. She then says God Bless You. I sincerely want to let her know how much this broken down getting older person really did appreciate the offer. So to that sweet, kind young woman on Tennessee Ave in Ocean City who stopped to offer a ride to a stranger, thank you for your kindness. Thank you. ❤
