Description
I am grateful to spend the Holidays and our birthdays with my mother. Her health is very poor and she is visually impaired. We spent time cooking, baking ( she mixed up some awesome sugar cookies), watching movies and playing her favorite card game. These seem like the most simplest things to do, but was a major thing for her to do. My mother has not cooked or baked for years- she loved it! These are the best memories ever! Live life to the fullest, but remember the simple things may be your fondest memories and touch your hearts the most.
I am grateful for the most loving man in the world. He is amazing- I am blessed to have him in my life. He supports all the numerous trips back and forth (sometimes I am gone for months at a time) to spend time with my mom. She is our number one priority.
I am also grateful for the most amazing son. I am very thankful for him being in my life. He surprised us by coming to his grandma's home for Christmas. He flew in from Guyana.
I am grateful to be here on this earth- thank you God!
I hope in 2013 people will be more forgiving and treat human beings like they are human beings. We all come from different cultures, we are different colors, we have different thoughts, but one thing makes us all the same- we are human beings! Love each other, care for each other, help each other and be there no matter what for each other.
Happy New Year! Make this the best 2013 by being the best human being ever!
