My son got an ear infection the day we were set to fly home. We were squeezed in to see a wonderful nurse practitioner on 12/31 who gave him great care and took extra steps to make sure our prescription was filled quickly so we could make our flight. My son's ear was fine during the flight and I am grateful because my son is on the mend and our flight was without incident. I decided to focus on the fact that we were able to access good care and medication and that my son ear is getting better rather than focus on our last day of vacation was spent in a doctor's office and a pharmacy. Feels so much better to be grateful. Happy 2013 everyone!
