  Goodbye, old Subaru. We've had a good ride over these last nine years. You took us all around the island. You carried our kayaks, Christmas trees, and went camping with us. You were there when we got our new house. When a brush fire threatened the neigborhood, it was you who took us to safety. We took our babies home from the hospital in you, and have watched them growing up in your rear view mirror. I've seen rainbows through your windows and sold homemade leis out of your trunk. See you on the other side. The other side of the island, that is, since the kid who bought you lives in Lahaina. I hope she fixes your timing belt before it goes.
