Grateful in Los Angeles

  I am grateful for the good people that surround me. For example, a proprietor at the liquor store didn't ask for 10 cents when I was 10 cents short buying beer a month ago. When I went back yesterday on New Year's Eve to purchase drinks, I added 10 cents to the purchase to which he said: "Can't charge you this on New Year's Eve...c'mon!" and let me off the hook again. A good person! Life is full of goodness, but the media inserts pain and catatrophe in our lives.
