  Our mother loved UConn BB more than she loved us. So much she left hospice in Virginia to see them play one last time. The team heard this & invited her to practice. Mum gave them a pep talk before the Duke game which "had something to do with the win," UConn head coach Geno Auriemma said in his post-game press conference." (What a gentleman) Mom died 6 weeks later, still smiling. THANK YOU Geno, Shea Ralph, Maya Moore, Sarah Darras and all the other coaches and players for making mother's life in CT (Swin, Diana, Rebecca) & her last days so special. We will never ever forget your kindness.
