Overwhelmed

  I am grateful for the last 4 years, 9 months and 24 days that I have been gifted with recovery and sobriety. I am grateful for the 2,534,400 minutes in which I have not found it necessary to take a drink or a drug. I am grateful that in my 33rd year of life I met the man I am going to marry. I am grateful I was adopted. I am grateful for my sight (my mom is blind). I am grateful for my health (my mom has also survived two cancers and my brother has Cystic Fibrosis). I am grateful for the inspiration I am able to see each and every day of my life. I am grateful to have a job - even if I don't always love it. I am grateful to have a home. I am grateful that I have the most amazing network of friends a girl could ask for. I am grateful for my spirituality. I am grateful that this site was invented and that YOU are taking the time to read this.
